I didnt take down the kills it was a bad map all the same.

Canals
I tried todo some tactics for this they went ok, a few times they didnt really work due lacking numbers they managed to rush around a few rounds. We got it covered in the end though we managed to turn around and kill the rusher, they had a few good moves with teaming up, we found ourselves 2v2 at times but managed to win the rounds, we also managed to use the sniper to our advantage with ngg lacking on the sniper front, although betts got a headshot with it here and there, we also used teaming up on people it proved to work well as we managed to take them out.

Gridlock
I also had a little bit of tactics for this but it wasnt as technical as the canals tactics, mainly just where we went etc, We lost the first round off the bat, I was late to get to my controller due to getting pen and paper for the first match result they managed to get the sniper first and they also got the boom we got picked off one by one and lost it, we won the rest of the rounds in a close map, was a few times where it was 2v2 at times, but we managed to pull through. Highlight of the map was Havoks double kill with nades.

Mansion
This was a shockingly bad map for us, we had no tactics I said to rush the boom but we got nowhere with it, Mansion is a hosts map, ngg did the right choice in picking it and knew what they were doing, they managed to get good positions going for it and locked it down, we never really managed to get much out of it, we tried mixing it up, diablos tried his best to flank and move inside etc, but overall the sheer power of ngg they quickly took us down with lancers and cleared the rest out with the boom, a proper whitewash.

Escalation
This was the closest of all the maps, was a round for round map, we won a round they won a round etc. Tended to be the team who spawned at the bottom with the snipers and nades that won, there was rounds where they rushed down from the top but they mostly did it one at a time and got picked off, a mistake on there part. They did an ok job with the grenades at times and got a few headshots with snipers, but we managed to gain the upperhand on a few rounds they choose to rush and we took the rounds and played it out, macca had a few decent sniper headshots, we worked well most of the time and managed to camp it out when we was getting bashed with nades, we lost one or two rounds to grenades, but we also won a few rounds with grenades so I cant complain.

We stuck in twos for the majority of the maps and it paid off on most of them, except for mansion we were not prepared and lost it to a whitewash.

Good game NGG, and thanks to Havok, Diablos and Macca for all turning up training and playing well.

No MVP for this match, we all played our parts and couldnt have won without the teamwork.

But anyway this has got to be the best match we have played XGL on GOW 1, We had to make a last min sub as 1 of our first choice players got the RROD but thats like

Will get a re-match soon lads if you up for it ?

Cheer for the challenge anyway, as you probably know most other of the casual clans we both play are too easy to beat and XGL have always been a great challenge and will hopefully continue to do so

I can't help but remember you blowing yourself up TWICE with the mortar in a clan match on Jacinto. Still cracks me up.

im sure it was 5 - 1 , because i said to frosty we only need to win 2 rounds on your host to win the whole match because i thought we was only doing 4 maps

Just a thought, put in points as well as kills if you have time. Much better representation of who helped. Might be difficult to do though, but a very nice write up anyway.
